The Terror of 3-D Printers
The Vice President of my Information Technology Department told me in great confidence that a young computer geek who works for a friend of his in another IT organization somehow got involved in stealing a new, state of the art 3D printer.
My IT head said there is no law against it, except for stealing, but this poor nerd was seized by the FBI and now he is in Guantanamo.
3D Printer, huh….
Amateur gunsmiths are now sharing the digital blueprints for making key parts of a gun online on a 3-D printer and one member of Congress has expressed concern about the implications of 3-D printed guns at airports and other public spaces.
